i want to be a talk show host when i get older. i think it would be an awesome job to meet a lot of celebrities and have my own show but i have no idea what i need to learn to do it. i’m willing to do everything possible to make this happen so what can i do?

i mean jay leno tried his hand at the prime time slot and he failed ,while with conan at the helm ,the tonight show’s ratings were through the roof! i mean in my mind leno is a part of the past as such represents the old way ,o’brian was new ,young,tall,FUNNY! popular! and would take the tonight show where no host has gone before! my question is am i wrong?
that’s a great question no I don’t think your wrong you made a good point .And honestly I hate the fact that he lied and said he would retire when he didn’t that’s what people were hoping for. And Conan does more fun things on the shows with Andy Richter, Max, and labama, He does sketches jay just has the stupid car race.

Depends on the business, the show and the rate being charged. A lot of business have made a fortune by teaming up with the right talk show.

rarely are "Talk shows’ ever released on DVD offically- you may find recorded off the tv on e-bay etc-
I checked a couple of places and no there are no offical releases of his show

Not much of a host
Most anytime HE was interviewed, he was brooding, moody, aloof, and unapproachable. Often he would pass the interview time, lighting matches and putting them to his crotch.
I would assume he wouldn’t fair much better on the other side of the interview.
