BTW, Please do not attack me with statements like "bet you didn’t serve". In fact, I served proudly in combat in Vietnam and was badly wounded. I don’t recall seeing Rush, O’Reilly, Savage or Rove there.

What would have happened if talk show host Alex Jones said he would pay for the bullets to kill someone who was going to send information to the troops about anti-gun legislation?

He would, of course, be subjected to a different standard of justice than Reagan.
They would find a way to label him a "terrorist" and subject him to all possible remedies for dealing with "terrorists", including torture.
Reagan must be held accountable for his statements. Enough is enough.

May 6, 2009 – US radio presenter Michael Savage, who has been placed on a list of people banned from entering the UK, describes himself as an “explosive conservative radio talk show host“.
A so-called “shock jock”, Savage hosts a nationally-syndicated right-wing talk show, The Savage Nation, reaching an estimated eight million US listeners a week.
That makes Savage – real name Michael Alan Weiner – the third most popular radio host in the US.
Savage’s self-described “brash commentary and unapologetic solutions” are carried across US airwaves by hundreds of radio channels from his home station, KNEW in San Francisco.

I’m really witty and personable. I think I’d be great at being a radio talk show host. How do I get started? Do you know of anyone looking for a radio talk show host? Are there websites to check out?
If you have no experience, you won’t get anything.
You have to understand that this is a business 1st. There are millions of dollars being thrown around and a big emphasis on ratings and revenue.
2nd, your only shot to do anything is to get in as an intern somewhere and work your way up.
Program Directors won’t hire someone who has not proven them-self on air…You might want to think about starting at a music station in a small market (better chance to work your way to the studio, faster).
It will take you years of dedication and hard work.

Rachael Ray how do you like her daytime talk show? Or do you think she is better at the 30 minute food channel personality? She seems to "cram" a lot into her daytime show.

Nick Carraway is supposed to "reserve judgement" so how would he talk… he doesn’t seem to talk much… I don’t know how to do a monologue as Nick Carraway as a talk show host… any help in how to show he SAYS he’s non-judgemental though he’s not?
He reserves judgment, meaning he doesn’t feel sorry nor happy nor angry for his guests. If you were write a monologue, he’d probably be fairly serious, ask serious questions, and listen attentively while the guests talk. That’s what I personally think; it’s open a little bit to interpretation.

i want to be a talk show host when i get older. i think it would be an awesome job to meet a lot of celebrities and have my own show but i have no idea what i need to learn to do it. i’m willing to do everything possible to make this happen so what can i do?

i mean jay leno tried his hand at the prime time slot and he failed ,while with conan at the helm ,the tonight show’s ratings were through the roof! i mean in my mind leno is a part of the past as such represents the old way ,o’brian was new ,young,tall,FUNNY! popular! and would take the tonight show where no host has gone before! my question is am i wrong?
that’s a great question no I don’t think your wrong you made a good point .And honestly I hate the fact that he lied and said he would retire when he didn’t that’s what people were hoping for. And Conan does more fun things on the shows with Andy Richter, Max, and labama, He does sketches jay just has the stupid car race.

Not much of a host
Most anytime HE was interviewed, he was brooding, moody, aloof, and unapproachable. Often he would pass the interview time, lighting matches and putting them to his crotch.
I would assume he wouldn’t fair much better on the other side of the interview.
